Kessingland Beach

Kessingland Beach is a long, wide, sand and shingle beach facing low cliffs. Because of its remote location and size, Kessingland beach never feels crowded, even during the hottest summer days. Here you can swim and take part in water sports such as wind surfing, and this part of the coastline is also a good place to take beautiful long walks any time of the year.

Lowestoft South Beach

Lowestoft South Beach is just south of Great Yarmouth on Suffolk’s “Sunrise Coast” and features a huge range of local amenities. Also known as Victoria Beach, it has received a Blue Flag award due to its clean waters and amenities. It’s a popular fishing beach and a great place to take part in various water sports, including swimming, surfing, windsurfing, and jet skiing. There is also a seasonal lifeguard watching over the beach.

Aldeburgh Beach

Known as one of Suffolk’s most popular beaches, this sand and shingle beach backs on to the picturesque seaside town of Aldeburgh. There are a number of quirky historical buildings on the beach front, but the town is best known for its fish and chips, which are rated among the best on the East Coast!

Horsey Beach

Horsey beach is a wild and unspoilt sandy beach backed by one of the largest sand dune systems on the east coast. This beach is best known for its seal sightings. These fantastic animals can be viewed up close whilst walking along this stretch of the beach in the winter. You can also see seals bobbing around in the water off the beach all year long.

Southwold Pier Beach

In Suffolk, Southwold is a well-known resort with a long history. This seaside town has an 800-foot long pier that shows off its seaside credentials. Blue Flags have been awarded regularly over the years demonstrating not only the cleanliness of the beach, but also the excellent amenities on offer.

Corton Sands Beach
