Are there any free activities to do on our parks?

Yes, there are several free activities across all of our parks, including outdoor play areas, nature trails, petanque and various dog friendly amenities including dog toy libraries. You can also borrow beach toys, body boards, crabbing kits, and board games from us for free. For more details on free items available to borrow, visit our Free Borrow Items page. Green Hill Farm in the New Forest has the widest variety of free activities, including a mud kitchen, junior trampolines, splash pad and a trim trail.

Available at all our holiday parks

Our Big 5 is a park-wide adventure open to everyone – with free trails and maps available from reception. For an extra layer of excitement, why not treat your young explorers to a Big 5 backpack? Packed with a compass, binoculars, a pencil pack, and wildflower seeds to attract minibeasts at home, it’s the ultimate kit to inspire curiosity. Just £11, it’s the perfect companion for spotting wildlife and cracking clues alongside fellow adventurers.

Complete the trail to earn your very own Big 5 medal from reception! Last year’s trailblazers spotted everything from Peregrine falcons to dolphins – what will you discover?

Enjoy a sustainable holiday by nature

If you’re thinking about coming to one of our parks, we’ll bet you love nature as much as we do so we hope you’ll be pleased to know that we’re doing our part to look after the parks we call home. We truly care about the environment, proven by our B Corp certification—the first holiday park group in the UK to achieve this. From local and B Corp park shop stock to eco-friendly waste disposal systems, we’re committed to sustainability.

B Corp

We have stayed at various Lovat sites and all are great, the caravans are spacious, clean and ideally situated, however, the lovely locally sourced biscuits, fresh milk, tea bags and coffee means that you can grab a cuppa as soon as you arrive, which makes all the difference when you have been travelling for hours.
