We’re on the doorstep of the beautiful Waxham beach, just down the road from Sea Palling and Horsey Gap, where you’ll be likely to spot delightful little seals in their natural habitat. That’s not forgetting the Broads, of course, which are a short drive from park.

  • The Broads National Park — truly the jewel in Norfolk’s crown, this is Britain’s largest protected wetland, offering endless opportunities for adventure and exploration. Golden Beach Holiday Park is very dog-friendly. Your dog will love walks on the coast, in the woodlands and near the pond. After a long day out, wash them off in the dog shower. Your pets are always welcome here.

Yes, there are 20 beaches in Norfolk where your dog is allowed to explore. Nearby Waxham, Horsey, Cart Gap and Happisburgh beaches are all dog-friendly, as are Great Yarmouth and Garleston beaches.

Keep Britain Tidy has awarded Blue Flags for Sea Palling, Waxham, Sheringham, Cromer, Mundesley, East Runton and West Runton, and a seaside award for Wells-next-the-Sea.
