Find out how we can give you a Helping Hand To Ownership

Booking Terms & Conditions.

We don’t do small-print, which is why our T&Cs are clear and the same size as everything else.

Please read through these Terms and Conditions carefully as together with your holiday booking confirmation, the information on our website and in our brochure, make up your holiday booking contract with us (Lovat Parks Limited, registered company no. 10782220) and you are agreeing to the following:

Your holiday booking

When booking your holiday, you are agreeing that your holiday is for recreational and leisure purposes only and that you will abide by our park rules. This applies to you and all members of your party. If you don’t, it may result in you and your party being asked to leave the park and no refund will be due to you.

We will try to make sure that any prices shown on our website or given over the phone, in writing or in person are correct. Occasionally, an incorrect price may be given due to an error. When we become aware of such an error, we reserve the right to raise or lower the price of your holiday and if you do not wish to accept the correct price, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday booking. All holiday prices shown are inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate.

Securing your holiday booking

We will request a £50 deposit, or full payment (if the total balance due is less than £50), at the time of booking to secure your holiday. All deposits are non-refundable.

Full payment of the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before you arrive. If your arrival date is within 8 weeks, then full payment needs to be made when you book.

We accept credit or debit card payments only (except American Express) – sorry, no cheques or bank transfers. Holiday bookings can’t be held for payment on arrival.

If we don’t receive full payment within 48 hours of the balance due date, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday and no refund will be due to you.

It’s your responsibility to check that all the details shown on your holiday booking confirmation are correct. If there are any errors, please let the park know as soon as possible as we may not be able to make changes later.

The lead guest on the holiday booking is responsible for all payments and the behaviour of all members of the holiday party. The minimum age of a lead guest is 21.

Once you have booked and paid your deposit, we won’t change your holiday price regardless of any increase or decrease in the prevailing VAT rate.

If you arrive on the park with equipment different to what was originally booked, or more people in your party, we reserve the right to (a) restrict the units / people allowed to use the pitch, (b) allocate additional units / pitch(es) if available at the appropriate charge, or (c) cancel your holiday booking and no refund will be due to you.

Holiday information

The check-in time for touring and camping holidays is from 12pm.

For lodge and caravan accommodation and glamping the check-in time is from 3pm for all grades except for Standard which is from 4pm.

If you plan on arriving after 5pm, please let the park know so we can arrange for a late check-in.

If you don’t check-in for your holiday on the booked arrival date without prior notice, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday booking after 1pm on the following day and no refund will be due to you.

We require all guests to check-out by 10am on the day of departure. If you check-out before your booked departure date no refund will be due to you.

Only one vehicle is included per pitch or accommodation booked. Additional vehicles must be booked and paid for by calling the park direct.

Electric car charging is not permitted directly from your holiday accommodation or touring electric hook-up point. Charging of vehicles is only permitted from specific EV charging units on the park. (Please check availability by park).

All vehicles and other items of equipment brought on to the park must be maintained to the appropriate safety standards and you must have adequate insurance including third party cover.

Commercial and/or branded vehicles are not allowed on our parks.

Number plate recognition systems are installed on many of our parks, so we ask that your number plates are clean and undamaged to ensure easy access in and out of our parks. Some non-standard plates may require a barrier remote, for which a £10.00 cash deposit will be required (this will be refunded on departure).

Touring and camping

Our pitch sizes vary by park but in general the standard width of a pitch is 5 metres; please check at the time of booking.

We won’t accept bookings that exceed the maximum pitch size. If your tourer, tent, or motorhome exceeds those limits, you may be required to leave the park or pay for an additional pitch (if one is available). This will be at the discretion of the park management team and no refund will be due to you.

Only one tourer, tent or motorhome is allowed per pitch.

Pitches are clearly marked and a clear space of at least 3 metres must be left between pitches.

Continental caravans must be arranged at the time of booking and a call must be made to the park to confirm the holiday booking.

The use of awnings and pup tents must be agreed with the park prior to arrival.

The electricity supply on our electric pitches is a maximum of 10 Amps. You’ll need to use your own leads which must have standard campsite plugs and be RCD protected. Anything used on the electricity supply must not cause an overload and hold a current portable appliance testing certificate.

Water points are shared with other pitches so can’t be left connected. Generators are not allowed.

Only gas or charcoal BBQs are allowed, and these must be raised off the ground.

Fires, firepits and fireworks are not allowed on our parks.

If you or a member of your party has a disability, restricted mobility, or access requirements, please contact the park direct before making a holiday booking. Our team can give you advice and information about our parks, holiday homes and facilities. We will do our best to meet your requirements, but this can’t always be guaranteed.

If you want to stay as part of a group that would occupy two or more holiday homes or touring pitches, please contact the park directly. Not all our parks are suitable for groups and we reserve the right to decline your holiday booking. If we do accept your group booking, we may ask for a deposit before your arrival. If you arrive on the park as a group without prior approval, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel and no refund will be due to you.

Children must always be supervised. Play areas must be vacated by 9pm or dusk (whichever is sooner). Bikes or scooters are not allowed after dark. We don’t allow electric scooters, segways or hoverboards on our parks. We also do not allow the use of drones.

Our parks are dog-friendly and will accept up to two well trained dogs per holiday booking. We only permit dogs in our pet friendly accommodation. If you arrive on the park with a dog and have booked a non-pet friendly accommodation, you will be asked to leave the park and no refund will be due to you.

We won’t permit dogs that are listed under the Dangerous Dogs Act which are: Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Japanese Tosa and XL Bully. We can sometimes take other types of pet - but this will be at the discretion of the park management team at the time of booking. If you have a dog that is noisy or behaving badly, we may ask you to take them away, so please keep your dog on a lead and make sure a responsible adult is looking after it.

We accept accredited guide dogs in all our holiday homes and in all areas of our parks. This does mean we can’t absolutely guarantee that we have never had any dogs in our holiday homes.

Dogs must always be kept on leads and mustn’t be left unaccompanied. Please clean up after your dogs and use the dog waste bin provided.

If you cause a disturbance which is a nuisance to others, including the prohibited use of generators, you may be asked to leave the park and no refund will be due to you.

Anyone staying on one of holiday parks and using our facilities does so at their own risk. We accept no liability for the loss or damage to any property.

Damage to accommodation

If your accommodation is damaged by you or someone in your party during your stay, we have the right to recover the cost of repair from you, including any extra cleaning costs. In addition, if the damage prevents following bookings from using the accommodation, we reserve the right to recover any loss of revenue or other costs that we may incur. We may also go into your holiday home at a reasonable time (and on reasonable notice) during your holiday to check things. Any damage to your accommodation could result in your holiday booking being cancelled and no refund will be due to you. If there is an emergency, we can enter your accommodation without warning.

Alcohol, smoking, drugs and offensive weapons

We have a zero-tolerance policy on drugs, firearms and offensive weapons. If you take illegal drugs or any other illegal substance or are in possession of a firearm or offensive weapon, we will ask you to leave the park and no refund will be due to you.

Please use dedicated smoking areas on the park. We don’t allow the smoking of vaporisers, e-cigarettes, and tobacco in any of the public areas, buildings, or holiday homes on the parks.

We only sell alcohol to guests over the age of 18. We reserve the right to request to see an approved form of identification – passport, photo driving licence or valid identification card when buying alcohol on our parks.

Illness and contagious diseases

If you or any member of your party have an illness or contagious disease that will affect any of our other guests, you need to let us know. If we become aware, or have reasonable grounds to suspect, that you have contracted an illness or contagious disease that may infect other people, you and your party may be asked to leave the park and no refund will be due to you.

We may at times need to close certain facilities throughout the holiday season and where possible we will advise you prior to your arrival. This will be at the discretion of the park management team and no refund will be due to you.

Occasionally we may use a photographer or videographer to film at our parks. You may appear in the background of these shots or even be featured or interviewed. We hope you enjoy being photographed but if you don’t wish to be captured in the photos or videos, please speak with the photographer or film crew. We reserve the right to use any images or video taken on the parks for marketing or promotional purposes, including social media.

If you leave something behind

If you leave something behind, please let us know as soon as possible. If we find it, you’ll need to cover the postage costs for us to return it to you. We accept no liability if we can’t find it or if it’s damaged.
