At Lovat Parks, we offer some of the most generous tenure terms in the industry, with holiday home licences ranging from 20 to 50 years, meaning decades of memories for you and your family. At Lovat Parks, we make owning a holiday home simple, transparent, and stress-free. From the very beginning, we provide all the essential information you need to make a confident and informed decision. Before any commitment, we ensure you fully understand every detail through a dedicated welcome meeting with our park team.

Becoming an owner is a meaningful lifestyle choice, and we guide you every step of the way with complete transparency and support. Our peaceful, beautifully located parks, fair site fees, flexible letting options, commission-free finance, a 12 month warranty, and cooling off periods all combine to create a holiday home experience that puts people and the planet first.

We understand that circumstances can change, and if the time comes and you no longer want to be an owner on the park, we’re here to support you, just as we have throughout your journey with us. There are several options available, including selling your holiday home privately, moving the holiday home off the park, or—depending on the park, condition, and time of year—we may be able to buy it back if an agreement is achieved. Whatever your situation, you can rest assured that we’ll guide you through the process with care, clarity, and support every step of the way.

    How much is a deposit?

    A minimum deposit of 20% is required.

    What post purchase warranties are included?

    Every holiday home comes with a 12 month warranty at no extra cost. Brand new units are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, and pre-loved homes come with a Lovat Parks warranty for added peace of mind. Full details are shared before any decision is made.

    What is included in the 12 month warranty?

    We offer a complimentary 12 month warranty when you buy a lodge with us to alleviate stress. This maintenance measure provides coverage for any necessary work that may arise within the first year of owning your lodge. After the initial year, you have the option to choose your own suppliers or consult our park teams for local recommendations. See what’s included and our terms and conditions.

    What if I change my mind after paying a deposit?

    Every purchase comes with a 10 day cooling off period after paying your deposit.

    Is there a cooling off period after buying a holiday home?

    Buying a holiday home and becoming an owner is a big deal. That’s why we give you a 10-day cooling-off period. If you change your mind after paying a deposit for any reason, just let us know within those 10 days and you’ll get a full refund. No stress, no strings.

    What if I change my mind after the 10 day cooling off period?

    We also offer a 30 day money-back guarantee, giving you a full month after getting the keys to make sure your holiday home is the perfect fit. If it’s not quite right, you’ll get your money back—simple, stress-free, and no strings attached.

    What are site fees?

    These simply cover general day-to-day things including all park maintenance, landscaping, security and park amenities as well as street lighting, security, superfast wi-fi and refuge collection. Site fees themselves range by park and pitch location. Site fees change each year to reflect annual inflation and any investments we make on our parks. However, these are always reasonable and competitive compared to the industry.

    How are site fees handled?

    We keep site fees fair and predictable. Fees only increase to match inflation, unless higher taxes, rising operational costs, legal changes, or park improvements require adjustment. Changes are notified to owners every November well in advance. We aim for clarity, honesty, and putting owners first.

    What if my circumstances change and I no longer want to be an owner?

    We support you if your circumstances change. Options include selling your home privately, moving it off the park, or, depending on the park, condition, and time of year, we may buy it back if an agreement is reached. We guide you through the process with care and clarity.

    Can I let out my holiday home when I’m not using it?

    Yes, absolutely. Our Love To Let service is a fully managed letting option that allows you to let out your holiday home through us when you and your family aren’t there. If you choose to let through Love To Let, we handle everything, from bookings and guest communication to cleaning and maintenance—so you can enjoy the benefits without any hassle. Prefer to manage things yourself? You’re welcome to let privately, or even do a bit of both. Whatever you choose, our dedicated team will keep you updated throughout the year, so you’re always in the loop.

    What is Love To Let?

    Love To Let is our fully managed letting service that allows owners to rent out their holiday homes through us when they’re not using them. This provides owners the opportunity to offset their running costs while still retaining full autonomy over their calendar for personal use.

    How long can I keep my holiday home at Lovat Parks?

    At Lovat Parks, we offer some of the most generous tenure terms in the industry.     No, we don’t charge any commission fees. At Lovat Parks, we believe in keeping things fair and simple—so when it comes to financing your holiday home, every penny goes toward your new holiday lifestyle, not hidden fees.
