Both of our touring and camping parks feature spacious grass electric and grass non-electric pitches, pitch-side parking, washrooms, laundry rooms, children’s play areas and shops with everything from pegs and torches. We’re completely dog-friendly, too, so nobody has to miss out.
Unzip your tent and wake up to the sound of the waves, with beachfront pitches at Waxham just a stone’s throw from one of the UK’s largest seal colonies. Whether you’re craving peaceful seclusion or seaside adventure, our electric and non-electric pitches offer the perfect getaway.
Touring & camping in Norfolk
Whether you’re in your own motorhome or a tent, our campsites have everything you need. Check-in is at 12pm, checkout at 10am. Prices cover up to 4 people per pitch, with options to add more for a bit extra. We’ve got water points, showers, family bathrooms, kitchens, electric hook ups, dog showers, and hairdryers. You can BBQ and set up awnings. Just bring yourselves, your gear, and pets. Our touring wardens ensure you sleep soundly in nature.
Both of our UK campsites welcome up to two dogs per reservation. Your dogs will love stretching all four legs along Horsey Gap’s dog-friendly sands.
After your adventures, remember to rinse off sandy paws in our dog showers before heading back to your pitch. Our park receptions are dog-friendly, so our furry friends can’t wait to greet them on the way to the snack bar for a treat!

Our touring and camping parks are perfectly equipped with spacious grass electric and non-electric pitches, pitch-side parking, washrooms, laundry rooms, park shops, and children’s play areas. Enjoy water points, shower blocks, accessible family bathrooms, fully-equipped kitchens, electric points, touring wardens, and dog showers. BBQs and awnings are permitted, making it ideal for a summer evening grill!

Yes! Waxham Sands Holiday Park is a dog friendly park and allows up to two dogs per touring or camping pitch . Your dogs can enjoy direct access to Horsey Gap beach, a dog friendly area where they can stretch their legs and explore the sands. To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, dogs must be kept on leads throughout the park and should not be left unattended in accommodation. Additionally, the park provides amenities like dog showers, feeding bowls, and doggy ice creams to make your furry friends feel right at home.

At Waxham Sands Holiday Park, you can book a touring or camping holiday for 2 to 14 nights, with arrivals available on any day except Sunday.
Waxham Sands offers touring facilities including electric and non electric hook ups, drinking water taps, Elsan points for chemical toilet waste disposal, toilets, showers (including an outdoor beach shower), accessible facilities, a laundry room, shop, play park, safari tent, communal fire pit, seasonal pop up food vendors, and BBQ disposal bins.
Check in times for touring & camping at Waxham Sands is 12pm – 6pm. Please note, we do not accept arrivals after 6pm unless authorised in advanced by us. If you think you will be arriving after this time, you must contact us.
Yes, there is a Wi-Fi hotspot available near the Safari tent and around our reception area.
Yes, we have pitchside parking available. The law requires a safe distance of 3 metres between tourers/motorhomes/campers and tents on the park. We also ask that all tourers have their jockey wheel facing the roads (back on to the pitch) as instructed by our team. Motorhomes and campervans should reverse onto the pitch. *Please note we do not allow awnings on European/Continental vehicles.
Pitch sizes vary by park, but the standard width is 5 metres. We won’t accept bookings that exceed the maximum pitch size.
Only one tourer, tent, or motorhome is allowed per pitch. Pitches are clearly marked and a clear space of at least 3 metres must be left between pitches. Generators are not allowed, and only gas or charcoal BBQs that are raised off the ground are permitted.
Waxham Sands offers a laundry room, and the park shop stocks single-use laundry pods at 50 p each, or you can purchase a box of Daz detergent for £3.29.
If the weather’s lovely, why not book a last minute touring & camping holiday with us?
The campsite is situated in a quiet rural area of Norfolk and yet, close to the beach. Pitches are fairly flat. The roads are in good order and quiet for cycling (beg July) We were fortunate to see a colony of seals on the beach during our stay but they can usually be seen, a little further down along the coast. Very nice Cafés reasonably close. All staff at the campsite were friendly and informative.
