Looking to lace up your walking boots? We’re in the perfect spot. Padstow to Harlyn Bay or Padstow and Stepper Point are two great routes if you’re wanting to stretch your legs and take in Cornwall’s spellbinding shores.
For rugged coast, lighthouses and golden sand, the Trevose Head circular is another that’s high up our list.
We’d be remiss to not mention Rick Stein, of course. With his four Michelin-starred restaurants in the town, the celebrity chef is almost synonymous with Padstow. The hype is much deserved — we’d really recommend you set aside an evening for a visit!

For your coastal capers, we offer bodyboard hire and a beach toy library — there’s even a beach clean station. Padstow Holiday Village is completely dog friendly too; grab a treat from the doggy snack bar, or burn off some energy at our on-park agility area!
During your visit you might want to sample some street food from our regular pop-up food vans. We also often have Craftworks Kitchen serving an alfresco, casual dining experience under the stars in our very own private garden.

The Camel Trail from Padstow to Wadebridge is a great scenic walkies route you shouldn’t miss. The South West Coast Path offers a similarly spellbinding maritime backdrop, allowing you and your canine companion to soak up Cornish coast, countryside and history.
Thanks to our dog showers and snack bars, post-adventure cleanup and refuelling couldn’t be any easier. If you’re thinking of keeping things close by, we even have an on-park agility area.
Be sure to call in at one of many great dog-friendly establishments in town during your stay.
For a local drink and some homemade food (perhaps after strolling the Padstow to Prideaux Place circular walk), you can’t go wrong with Shipwrights, The Old Custom House or The Harbour Inn. For seafront views on a dog-friendly terrace, Greens of Padstow is well worth a visit.

Although our local surroundings are incredible, depending on how long your luxury lodge holiday is, you might want to dedicate a couple of days to heading slightly further afield. There’s so much to do, see and taste!
The Seven Bays — looping around the north Cornish coast from Padstow to Mawgan Porth — are perfect for a trip in the motor. Discover their coves, cliff tops and Blue Flag beaches all in a day (with your adventures powered by Cornish clotted cream ice cream).
Everything Cornwall has to offer is at your fingertips at Padstow. Head for Newquay’s world-famous surfing beaches, Fowey’s panoramic harbour or St Ives’ Tate museum. Then there’s Tintagel Castle, Land’s End, St Michael’s Mount, The Lost Gardens, The Eden Project… we could go on!
