Relaxed afternoons, great food and a lovely community feel.
We’ve got a lovely run of Summer Fetes coming up across our parks next month the kind of days built around good food, a bit of music in the background, and plenty to wander through at your own pace. Each one has its own feel, but you can expect a mix of local stalls, homemade bakes, games and a few light-hearted competitions along the way. Whether you’re popping by for an hour or settling in for the afternoon (perhaps with something sweet and a raffle ticket in hand), you’ll be very welcome. These fete days are always a bit of a highlight for us, and they do tend to fill up quickly so if you’re thinking of joining us, it’s worth having a look at your dates.
We’re kicking things off at Waxham Sands Holiday Park on 6th June (10am–6pm), with a relaxed day full of local Norfolk flavour. Expect a lovely mix of artisan stalls, arts and crafts, and plenty of food — from BBQ favourites to something sweet to take home. There’ll be live music throughout the day, alongside games, a tombola and competitions.
Our fun dog show is always a highlight (with rosettes and prizes on the day), and for families there’s face painting, the play park and a few activities to keep everyone busy. It’s all rounded off with a raffle, with prizes including a holiday, hampers and a few extra treats.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Green Hill Farm Holiday Village on 20th June (10am–6pm), for a relaxed summer fête with plenty to enjoy. There’ll be a mix of food and drink, from BBQ favourites to ice creams and homemade treats, alongside games, a tombola and a few friendly competitions throughout the day.
Live music will keep things ticking along, and our fun dog show comes with plenty of character and a few rosettes up for grabs. For families, there’s lots to get stuck into, including sports day games, face painting, and on-park activities like archery, trampolines and the play areas. We’ll also be running a raffle with some brilliant prizes, including a holiday, hampers and more with all adult entry donations going to charity.
At Cornish Meadows Holiday Park on 27th June (10:30am–5:30pm), we’ve got a fête that feels very much at home in its Cornish setting. There’ll be a great mix of local stalls to browse, alongside BBQ food, sweet treats and homemade cakes. You’ll find games and competitions dotted around, as well as live music to keep things ticking along nicely.
The dog show makes a return here too, with plenty of personality on show, and for families there’s a bit of circus skills, sports day fun, plus the play park and activity golf. We’ll also be running a raffle with some brilliant prizes, with all proceeds from entry going to Cornwall Air Ambulance.
