Step out of the gate at the base of our park and immerse in the ancient magic of our favourite national park. Following your daily stroll in the New Forest, retreat to one of our two or three-bedroom lodges, ready to book or buy. Each lodge boasts spacious family kitchens, en suite bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes, and ample storage—some even feature private hot tubs. Our New Forest park also has a series of holiday homes available to holiday in or own. New Forest Lavender Gardens — one for all the senses, these gorgeous gardens are only a 15-minute walk from the park. Why not stop off at The Shoe Inn on the way back for a refreshment?
The Rockingham Arms — If you had to ask us to choose our favourite pub lunch, we'd recommend The Rockingham Arms! With a lovely garden, it’s ideal for bringing along your four-legged friends! This cosy little establishment can be reached by walking across the common at the back of the park — there isn’t any lighting, so make sure it’s daytime or a nice long summer evening!
Salisbury — this beautiful medieval cathedral city — with a stunning cathedral, artsy shops, independent cafés, pubs and restaurants — are only a 20-minute drive or quick bus journey away.
New Forest Activities — if you’ve got a sense of adventure, New Forest Activities has fun for all the family covered. From canoeing to high ropes in the treetops, these are the days out that turn into lifelong memories.
Paultons Park — the home of Peppa Pig World as well as some white-knuckle rides, this family theme park is truly one for all ages. What’s more, it’s a mere 10-minute drive from our park!
National Motor Museum, Beaulieu — certainly one for car lovers, but also fans of picturesque little New Forest villages. Beautiful Beaulieu and its motor museum are well worth the 25-minute journey down the road.
Longdown Activity Farm — after the kids have enjoyed the farm animals, the soft play area and the trampoline barn, explore Longdown Farm’s on-site produce shop and tearoom, a short drive from the park.
New Forest Water Park — this awesome attraction offers an environmentally-friendly alternative to traditional boat watersports, set in 50 acres of stunning New Forest woodland, just a quarter-hour drive away.
