Welcoming team & ownership community
Whilst our lodges and luxury caravans are the bee’s knees, we think it’s our park, our location and our community that makes us an amazing place to be a holiday home owner.
From queries about site fees to dog walkies recommendations, our team is always on hand. Our open door policy and your feedback is what makes Sun Haven such a great place to own a lodge.
We’ve also worked hard to create an incredible on-park atmosphere and ownership community. Friends come free with every holiday home, and we even have an on-park café for those coffee catch ups.
Our ‘B Corp’ certification is proof that we love the environment and our surroundings. It’s hard not to, considering we’re just beside Mawgan Porth’s Blue Flag beach, with charming Padstow and the ever-popular Newquay in easy reach…
All the bells and whistles. Whilst all of our holiday homes, lodges and luxury caravans are different and features can vary, yours might boast…
A sought-after staycation destination, our stunning North Cornwall surroundings scarcely need introduction.
Four miles up the coast from Newquay, the beach on our doorstep is just far away enough to avoid the crowds. With rugged cliffs, mysterious caves, golden sand and crystal-clear waters, it’s perhaps the perfect seaside escape. The small stream runs down to the sea; great for rockpooling. There’s no restrictions at all for dogs, a go-to walkies hotspot for canine lodgers!
Just a moment away is Mawgan Porth’s lovely selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. Catch is great for a sumptuous sitdown seafood treat, and the Merrymoor Inn is a lovely pup-friendly pitstop.
To stretch your legs, there’s no shortage of walking and cycling routes in the vicinity; the circular walk up to Bedruthan Steps is one of our favourites, although the South West Coast Path down to Watergate Bay provides a similar at-one-with-nature sense of escape.
The cuisine hub of Padstow is only two ticks up the road; dine at Rick Stein, take the ferry over to Rock or kayak the estuaries.
Just down the coast is Newquay, whose array of surf beaches attract white water enthusiasts from right across the world. Even if you need a few beginners lessons to get your bearings, we’d fully recommend investing in a board and wetsuit if you’re becoming a holiday home owner here!
That’s not forgetting the zoo, aquarium amusements and abundant fish and chip outlets that make Newquay an incredible seaside family day out.
The endless range of picturesque walking and cycling routes offered up by the 630-mile long South West Coast Path will surely become a staple of your holiday itinerary, too.
Cornwall’s a relatively small region, which also means you’re never far from its array of unmissable, big-name historic attractions: hop in the car for a day trip to St Michael’s Mount, The Eden Project, The Minack Theatre, Tintagel Castle or The Lost Gardens.
You can explore our list of things to do, places to visit and restaurants to frequent over on our Discover Cornwall blog!
