Nestled in 14 acres, our holiday park offers a serene walk through the River Menalhyl woodlands, leading to Mawgan Porth’s dog-friendly beach. Just cross the stream at the bottom of our park and enjoy a 15 minute stroll to see the sea. You can hire a beach trolley to carry your belongings down to Mawgan Porth, but back at the park, we offer a variety of free items to borrow, including wooden belly boards and a full beach toy library.

Whether you’re catching waves or spotting surfers from the shore, Newquay is just a five-mile journey away.
Mawgan Porth offers excellent pubs and eateries like Merrymoor Inn and of course, our most local beach.
Padstow and its iconic harbour is just a 15 minute drive from Sun Haven.
Eden Project, just 35 mins from Sun Haven, delights plant enthusiasts with diverse species in lush gardens.
Nestled just up the road from our park is a tranquil oasis inspired by the East, complete with Water Gardens, a Stroll garden, and a Zen Garden.
Enjoy an adults only day out to a small batch gin tour a short taxi ride away.

The caravan was lovely, clean and large enough for 5 friends. The receptionists were friendly and helpful when booking the caravan and checking we were still arriving. The site was clean. Had enough facilities but not rowdy with a club house. It has a bar which ran a quiz night and had food available but it didn’t run until late.
Had a lovely stay in Mawgan Porth. Holiday home was very clean and had what we needed for a short stay! Great facilities for children, they loved the park, games available and being able to borrow beach toys! Staff were very friendly and the onsite pizzas and bar were great, they had excellent choice. There was also a lovely coffee shop/brunch spot across the road, nice having so many amenities!
Perfect.. used to use the touring pitches for 30 years, we were upset when they were closed! Family situation changed & nervously we booked a static July 2025, been 2026 for a 2nd year and booked ready for next year.. Lovely clean & modern static, bar a nice touch. We go early July been perfect both times & can’t wait for 2027!
Have stayed 3 times at sun haven, lovely site, location and the staff are friendly and help. Accommodation is very good, if we didn’t live so far away I would consider owning but not practical I’m afraid
