Investing in a luxury lodge at Penmarlam Lodge Retreat comes with a 100 year licence, the longest and most competitive in the Fowey area, ensuring the security of your long-term commitment for years to come.

When it comes to upkeep costs and considerations, the most common question we get is around site fees. Those are reviewed annually and notified to owners in November of each year for the following season.

Then there are some running costs to look out for, including non-domestic rates and water charges, billed annually in April, unless your new lodge has a water meter fitted. Just ask us if this applies to the lodge you’ve got your eye on. When it comes to your gas and electric, usage is metered and billed quarterly. Gas is supplied via bulk tanks to most of our owners at our Cornish parks. Your lodge must always be adequately insured. We will need you to provide us with a copy of the current certificate annually. Our prospective owners can access trusted financing through our partnership with Santander. We’ve got dedicated sales teams at each park ready to guide you through the various options available. All you need to do is ask.

To offset some of the costs, many of our owners choose to let their lodges through our fully managed letting service, Love To Let, when they’re not using it. Our teams take care of your holiday home like it’s their own. From cleaning to key collection and advertising, your place will never be empty for long. All you need to do is sign up. Don’t worry, if there are dates you want to keep to yourself during Penmarlam’s holidaymaker season between March and October, just let us know. Your forever holiday home is yours to use year round, after all. That goes for ownership and residential tenures. The only difference with residential is you can make the park your permanent residence if you wish to.
