Cornwall’s big ticket attractions scarcely need mention: The Eden Project, the Minack Theatre, St. Michael’s Mount, The Lost Gardens, Tintagel Castle, Land’s End, Trebah Garden — all within easy reach from any of our parks, given Cornwall’s easily-navigable size.
Then there’s the stunning little selection of harbour towns that make Cornwall synonymous with a great British seaside escape: St. Ives, Padstow, Looe, Falmouth, Polperro, Newuay, Truro, Fowey… we could go on! There’s no place like these for fish and chips wrapped in newspaper, or even a Michelin-starred sit down at a seafood restaurant.
If you’re keeping things local, there’s no shortage of nature, countryside walking trails and coastal routes nearby our parks. At Padstow? We’d recommend The Camel Trail to Wadebridge. Staying in a luxury caravan at Sun Haven? Mawgan Porth to Bedruthan Steps along the South West Coast Path is unmissable.
Those at Penmarlam should certainly make time for an afternoon walk to Lantic Bay, whilst luxury caravan holiday makers at Parbola can’t not head to Godrevy Point at some point during their stay. The wonderful Watergate Bay is also within reaching distance of Sun Haven and Padstow.
