If you’re at Green Hill Farm, lace up everyone’s walking boots and head out into the ancient woodland of the New Forest, just on our doorstep. The Bolderwood: Radnor Trail walk is a relaxing stroll under an ornamental canopy of treetops — a great day out for everyone.
At Waxham Sands, take the short trip to Sea Palling, one of many quaint little Norfolk villages. On its beach, you might even spot some grey seal colonies. Afterwards, be sure to grab a bite to eat at the child and dog-friendly Reefs Bar! It’s got to be fish and chips, hasn’t it?
Or, at our Sun Haven park, take a stroll to Mawgan Porth and its breathtaking sands, backed by imposing cliffs. If you’re feeling like stretching your sea legs, the views on the South West Coast Path to Bedruthan Steps is quite something.
Our other north Cornwall holiday parks — Parbola and Padstow — are a treasure trove of nature-inspired family fun, too. If your family’s into surfing, you’ll probably already know that Cornwall has an enviable collection of world-class beaches!
Let's not forget our stunning Penmarlam park, either — our luxury lodge retreat overlooking Fowey's estuary. The most intimate of all of our parks, Penmarlam invites you to take a deep breath of fresh air and marvel at the sounds of birdsong in the trees while wandering through lush greenery on the half-a-mile walk to the Old Ferry Inn pub. When it comes to day trips, our rural retreat is just a 15 minute drive away from The Eden Project. The unspoilt cove of the National Trust protected Lantic Bay is also only 10 minutes in the car.

Will you be pitching up in style or bringing a tourer? Our spacious, grassy electric and non-electric pitches, each with parking beside, are ideal. There’s a range of touring facilities, too — rock up and start your holiday.
Or, if you’re booking a holiday home, luxury lodge or static caravan, expect all the bells and whistles as standard. For that cosy family night in with a film, the TVs and high-speed WiFi connectivity will come in handy, we reckon…
All of our holiday parks have their own on-park children’s play areas, so they’re never stuck for a thing or to do. Green Hill Farm even has seasonal segway sessions, bike hire and kids’ ranger activity programs.

We know just how precious time away with all the family is, which is why our friendly, passionate and knowledgeable on-park teams have a top priority: service.
The moment you join us, you’ll feel the Lovat love. Nothing’s too much trouble for our team — whether that’s a helping hand with discovering local walking trails, our tips for the best dog-friendly restaurants or you’d just like us to book you a cab for the evening.
On park, we’ve got everything you’ll need to start making memories right away. Kitchens, wash rooms, laundry rooms — there’s even dog showers for when Fido gets a bit muddy on the marshes. Our children’s play areas are almost a dream come true for energetic kids and parents who fancy recharging their batteries!
Many of our parks also offer their own little extras that we know will make your stay even more special. At Sun Haven, there’s free belly board hire, as well as a board and wetsuit wash. At Green Hill Farm, the little ones will love our ranger activity program.
Two little legs, or four furry ones?
When we say family friendly, we mean everyone, of course! All of our holiday parks are child-friendly and dog-friendly.
It’s fair to say that pooches love nature just as much as we do. Whether they’re bounding through New Forest woodland or stretching their legs chasing a ball on Waxham beach, it’s heaven on Earth.
Once the adventuring is over, your furry friends can avail themselves of our on-park doggy showers — it’s luxury as standard for all the family, after all! — before heading to any number of nearby pet-friendly local pubs or restaurants.
All of our holiday parks welcome up to two dogs per booking, so none of the family has to miss out. We’ve yet to have too many cats join us on park, but there’s nothing stopping them either!
If you’re planning on bringing any more than two pets, just let us know. We can’t make any promises, but we’re sure it’ll be fine if they’re well behaved.

If you’re feeling suitably historic, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, a boat trip from Padstow, Newquay Zoo and Pendennis Castle might tickle your fancy.

Whilst we’re nestled in some of Britain’s cosiest, quaintest little landscapes, you’re never truly too far from an exciting, all-singing, all-dancing family day out.
If you’re in Cornwall and you’re not exploring picturesque villages like Fowey or St. Mawes, get that white-knuckle thrill at Flambards Theme Park or augment your wildlife knowledge at The Eden Project. Newquay’s nearby, too, with its aquarium and zoo, and that’s not forgetting Looe’s Monkey Sanctuary and the Bodmin & Wenford Railway, either.
In the New Forest, Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park — only 10 minutes from Green Hill Farm — is sure to excite the little ones. That’s not to forget Longdown Activity Farm and its host of kid-friendly fun, or the hustle and bustle in nearby Salisbury…
