Careers with Lovat Parks

Be part of something special…

It’s the genuine passion, talent and friendliness of our team that makes Lovat Parks such an incredible place to go on holiday.

We’re here to create memorable residential and holiday home experiences in some of Britain’s most beautiful, unspoilt locations.

Our luxury parks aren’t just amazing, liberating places for families to escape to, they’re uniquely enriching, rewarding and supportive places to work.

Grounds, maintenance, leisure, activities, bar, reception, sales and more — we recruit for many exciting roles, across a number of teams, to help us deliver our luxury offering. We recruit both for permanent roles and for seasonal team members.

Our seasonal recruitment usually takes place early, so that our team is ready to join us and be up and running ahead of the Easter holidays.

With eight holiday parks in the UK, our dedicated team are at the core of what makes our special on-park communities so naturally friendly, dynamic and caring.

Let’s introduce ourselves

Our history, business and ethos

Lovat Parks was founded in 2018 by Raoul Fraser. Our connection to travel and holidays in the UK goes back further, however. We’re named after Raoul’s grandfather who brought camping to the Scottish Highlands in the 1960s.

We’re building a brand that stands out in the holiday industry. We really look after, listen and respond to our customers. In turn, they respect and look after our parks and the stunning surrounding landscapes.

Key to this are our team members; they’re an integral part of the fabric of our park’s communities.

In return for their commitment and fantastic work, we provide our team with a friendly, supportive and innovative environment to nurture their skills, develop their careers and make a real difference to people’s lives on holiday.

Careers Founded

Each of our luxury parks has its own unique charm, character and personality, some catering for different types of holiday and accommodation. But whether it’s beach or country, lodge or motorhome, each park is united by a wonderful sense of community.

We’re committed to being good neighbours to our nearby areas and place sustainability at the heart of everything we do, caring for local people, businesses, wildlife and landscapes.

Ours is an environment where team members, owners and holiday guests all buy into the core values of honesty and integrity.

What we can offer you…

A supportive, collaborative working environment

When you join our team, you’re part of a story that’s still being written. We want you to help us shape the future of the industry.

To allow our team to do their best work, we give you autonomy. Whatever your idea, suggestion or brainwave, we’re all ears – after all, it’s ultimately about creating the best experience possible for our guests. You can always count on the support of your colleagues.

By giving our team members this freedom, we help them to create luxury holiday home experiences for our customers.

Careers Supportive Team

Training, support, progression and competitive pay

Whilst for some of our roles you may need to have demonstrated some prior experience, we’re completely committed to training and progression. For any roles that need specific experience, we’ll make it clear.

It may sound clichéd, but the most important thing is a customer-focused attitude. Our guests are the absolute heart of the business. Even if you don’t have direct experience in our industry, you’ve probably got experience of customers from other parts of life.

We believe in helping you to discover your strengths and passions and making the most of these at work.

We pay competitive market rates for our roles. We value everyone equally, which is why we don’t pay age-related national minimum wage or apprentice rates. We know that by paying well, we get the best team possible.

We’re delighted to offer a range of benefits.

  • A ‘duvet day off’ on your birthday

  • On and off-the-job training

  • 1-2-1 coaching for team leader and leadership roles

  • Private medical insurance, depending on your role (scheme guidelines apply)

  • Three-times salary life insurance cover for permanent team members

  • An Employee Assistance Programme giving access to a range of useful advice across all areas of life

  • A little something at Christmas to say ‘thank you’

A commitment to equality and diversity

We are proud to have a diverse team where each individual’s contribution is valued and celebrated. Whether it’s recruitment, development or promotion opportunities, equality is at the heart of how we work.

In line with the Equality Act 2010, we don’t discriminate and our recruitment is based solely on the skills and competencies required for the role. In a nutshell, your ability to provide a positive impact for our customers is what really counts.

Careers Inclusive

“Lovat, as an employer, is like a breath of fresh air. They genuinely care about not only the customer but also every single member of the team. They are continually looking at ways to improve standards and expectations across the business, but they also remember to take everyone on the journey with them.

“Training is paramount and they will always be willing to put those team members forward who want to progress within their career. As a member of the team I feel empowered to ask questions when unsure and confident to put my opinion forward when asked. So long as you have the right attitude and care about the business, you will do well with Lovat.”

Jo, General Manager
