Enjoy the stunning Broads and vast open beaches of Norfolk with your pet by your side. Bring your furry friend to our Norfolk caravan park and they are well and truly along for the adventure, whether you stay in a holiday home or camp under the stars with us. We only ask that dogs go on leads in communal parts of the park, and we happily accommodate up to two dogs per booking.

This varies by park and accommodation type, so it’s worth checking at the time of booking. Some parks apply a small additional charge to cover extra cleaning between stays, ensuring every pitch or holiday home is fresh and comfortable for the next guests, whether they’re travelling with a dog or not.
Yes, it’s worth booking well ahead, particularly for peak summer dates or the winter seal season around Horsey, when demand for nearby accommodation picks up noticeably. Booking early gives you the best choice of dates and pitch or accommodation type.
Spring and autumn are lovely for quieter beaches and comfortable walking weather, while winter has its own special draw: Horsey Gap’s grey seal colony, which pups on the beach from late autumn into winter. Summer offers the longest days for the coast, though it’s worth booking ahead, as this stretch of Norfolk gets popular in peak season.

Reefs Bar in Sea Palling welcomes dogs inside and out, right by the beach, and The Nelson Head in Horsey is a firm favourite after a seal-spotting walk, with a large beer garden and a warm welcome for well-behaved dogs. Further into the Broads, pubs in Horning and Hickling are also known for a good dog friendly welcome.
East Norfolk is a brilliant base for a dog friendly weekend break, with Waxham, Horsey, Sea Palling and Happisburgh all within easy reach of one another. You can pack a seal-spotting walk, a beach day and a pub lunch into a single weekend without much driving between any of them – ideal if you’re after dog friendly breaks in Norfolk that don’t require a long car journey each day.
The Broads are wonderfully dog friendly – think riverside walks around Hickling Broad, Horsey Mere and the windpump, or a stroll through Ranworth to the staithe. Many of the waterside pubs dotted along the Broads (Horning and Hickling both have good options) welcome dogs after a walk, making it easy to build a whole day around the water without leaving the dog behind.
