We’ve got a mix of 2 to 3 bedroom Standard, Superior, Luxury, Luxury Plus, Premium and Premium Plus holiday homes and Exclusive and Exclusive Plus lodges, all with dog friendly options, where every dog will be greeted with their very own welcome pack. We’ve also got glamping available in our bespoke shepherd’s huts with hot tubs for couples and families. One car parking spot per booking, if you require parking for a second vehicle please contact the park before hand to make arrangements.
Stay with us here in Mawgan Porth or at our Padstow park just a short drive away. You can also explore Cornish Meadows in West Cornwall or head south to Penmarlam for another great getaway.
Nestled in 14 acres, our holiday park offers a serene walk through the River Menalhyl woodlands, leading to Mawgan Porth’s dog-friendly Blue Flag beach. Just cross the stream at the bottom of our park and enjoy a 15 minute stroll to see the sea. You can hire a beach trolley to carry your belongings down to Mawgan Porth, but back at the park, we offer a variety of free items to borrow, including wooden belly boards and a full beach toy library.

Mawgan Porth offers excellent pubs and eateries like Merrymoor Inn and of course, our most local Blue Flag beach.
Padstow and its iconic harbour is just a 15 minute drive from Sun Haven.
Eden Project, just 35 mins from Sun Haven, delights plant enthusiasts with diverse species in lush gardens.
Nestled just up the road from our park is a tranquil oasis inspired by the East, complete with Water Gardens, a Stroll garden, and a Zen Garden.
Enjoy an adults only day out to a small batch gin tour a short taxi ride away.
Our 3rd visit and nowhere more beautiful especially in this fabulous weather. Lovely site and a great walk through the woods to the beach. Nice pop up cocktail bar on site this time so a bonus! Comfortable clean caravan with private decking.
It was my first visit to Sun Haven in 10 years and I am happy to report that everything about the park was better than I remembered. Staff, accommodation and facilities were excellent.
Our favourite spot in Cornwall. Our cockapoos love the walk through the woods on their way to play ‘Dunk the doggy ‘ in the river that runs over the glorious beach. Follow the play on the beach with a pint at the Merrymoor inn.
Park is well laid out,not a massive park which is what we like, lodges etc are not “on top of each other” looks like great care taken when planning making sure of your privacy.
Grounds are very well landscaped and maintained.Very important to us its dog friendly, dogs are very welcome.
All the staff there from reception to groundsmen are so friendly and welcoming.
Easy access to the beach, all on the flat Mawgan Porth has a decent pub restaurant as well as a few shops,cafe, fish & chips etc.St Mawgan itself has a lovely pub, The Falcon, as well as Tea Room and Cafe, all easy walking distance.
We just love it there, a proper holiday.
Everyone and everything at Sun Haven Mawgan Porth was everything we expected, we have been before and will be going again
