Hedgehog Heroes: Sun Haven and Padstow Join Forces with Prickles & Paws Hedgehog Rescue

We’re thrilled to share some heartwarming news from our Sun Haven and Padstow holiday parks down in Cornwall. Both parks are now officially registered release sites for the amazing Prickles & Paws Hedgehog Rescue.

Thanks to the hard work and dedication of Paul and Alan, we’ve welcomed several hedgehog homes to our park grounds, ready to give our spiky friends a safe and cosy place to settle back into the wild. Here’s Ollie proudly posing with one of the new homes — doesn’t it look inviting?

These specially designed shelters provide much-needed refuge for rehabilitated hedgehogs who are ready to return to their natural habitats. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to protecting wildlife and supporting local conservation efforts.

Prickles & Paws is a fantastic charity doing vital work for hedgehogs in need. In 2024 alone, they rescued a staggering 1,428 hedgehogs, and in 2025, they’ve already helped 167 more. Their brand new Hogspital is a state-of-the-art facility where these little creatures receive the care and treatment they deserve.
