Welcoming St Petrocs to Padstow Holiday Village 2m Lovat Lovat Parks 14/05/25 This May, we had the pleasure of welcoming Louise and Millie from St Petrocs to Padstow Holiday Village for a behind-the-scenes tour. It was a brilliant opportunity to connect, share ideas, and explore meaningful new ways to support their clients in building skills, confidence, and brighter futures. As a proud B Corp and St Petrocs Business Ambassador, we’re deeply committed to using our business as a force for good—supporting people, the planet, and our local communities every step of the way. About St Petrocs Founded over 30 years ago, St Petrocs is Cornwall’s leading independent charity dedicated to ending homelessness in the region. They provide a comprehensive range of services to support individuals experiencing homelessness, including: Accommodation: Operating 24 houses across Cornwall, St Petrocs provides supported housing for over 165 individuals, offering a stable environment as they work towards independent living. Resource Centres: Located in Truro and Penzance, these centres offer essential facilities such as showers, laundry services, food, clothing, and access to advice on housing, benefits, and independent living. Outreach Services: St Petrocs’ outreach teams engage with rough sleepers across Cornwall, providing immediate support and connecting them with necessary services. Health and Recovery: They run ‘Health for Homeless’ clinics and offer counselling services to address physical and mental health needs, recognizing the importance of holistic support. Vocational Development: Through training and employment programs, St Petrocs assists clients in developing skills and gaining work experience, facilitating their journey towards independence. In 2023 alone, St Petrocs worked with 1,357 individuals across all their services, demonstrating their significant impact in the community. Our Collaboration We’re currently exploring new initiatives with St Petrocs that focus on creating positive, practical work experiences for those they support. These early conversations are already full of promise, and we’re excited about the journey ahead. We’re also pleased to share St Petrocs’ latest Impact Report, which highlights the powerful work they’ve carried out over the winter months. It’s an inspiring read and a reminder of the vital role community plays in tackling homelessness.
