Discover what makes Green Hill Farm special for anglers: our exclusive lake at Lakeside Retreat awaits you. We offer four swims daily, available for booking through guest services. Fishing rates are as follows:
– Full day: Adult £15, Child £7.50 – Half day: Adult £10, Child £5
Maximum of 2 people per swim; swims can be booked prior to arrival by calling the park. Prices feature Carp, Tench, and more. A valid rod licence is mandatory and must be presented at the shop to obtain a fishing permit. Additionally, we stock sweetcorn in our park shop, a popular bait choice among anglers.
Our lake is right beside Canada Common in the New Forest
In the New Forest, Forestry England manages several coarse fishing lakes requiring permits. Lake Farm and Fishing near Alderholt offers three acres of fully stocked waters, while Cadland Fishery near Hythe boasts diverse carp species. Orchard Lakes in New Milton provides coaching and multiple fishing spots, including the beginner-friendly Jake’s Pond. For sea fishing, boat charters from Keyhaven, Buckler’s Hard, and Lymington offer Solent excursions. Marchwood’s Magazine Lane provides deep water fishing, and Lepe Beach and Calshot Spit are popular spots for various species.
