With a range of luxury holiday lodges to rent, we’re in the perfect spot for experiencing everything that makes Newquay and Cornwall so great — coast, countryside, seafood and surfing.
Not only have we got the perfect lodges and location, but we have all the on-park amenities and facilities you’ll need to make it an unforgettable getaway to north Cornwall — all backed by our incredible, attentive team.
We can’t wait to welcome you for your luxury lodge holiday in Newquay.
No passport expiry dates, no airport security checks, no currency exchange rates — just north Cornwall’s crisp coast and peaceful countryside.
Whether you’re looking for family fun at Newquay’s amusements, aquarium and zoo or want an escape to sweeping shores and idyllic glades, we couldn’t be in a better place.
May we recommend your holiday starts with a short stroll down to Mawgan Porth’s Blue Flag beach, just 10 minutes on foot from our park? Follow the South West Coast Path northwards and you’ll discover a true jewel in Cornwall’s crown — the National Trust’s Bedruthan Steps.
Trevelgue Head & Whipsiderry along the South West Coast Path is another excellent walk for soaking up coastal panoramas.
If you’re headed Newquay way, you won’t want to miss out on all the incredible golden beaches. During your stay, we’d also recommend a trip around the Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre, or Lappa Valley if you’re up for some miniature railway fun.
Expect the comfiest, cosiest beds, stylish open-plan living areas, first-class furnishings, kitchen appliances, 32” TVs — basically, everything you need to pack up and escape to the Cornish coast in style! There’s even high-speed WiFi, which you’ll certainly need for sharing those snaps of your latest surf session or coastal walk. The lodge is all yours from 3pm, with check out at 10am.
To start your day, pick up some freshly-baked goodies from our on-park café to enjoy on your lodge decking whilst you plan your upcoming holiday adventures.
Make it an understated day escaping to our nearby coast or country surroundings on a circular walk, or call into the tea rooms in St. Mawgan.
You could also head further afield — perhaps to Newquay, Padstow or another of Cornwall’s beautiful harbour hotspots. If you’re hitting the waves, we have a board and wetsuit wash facilities, as well as dog showers if Fido could benefit from a quick scrub up.
Be sure to grab a bite to eat at any of the awesome eateries in the area — our café even serves pizza every Saturday from 5pm! If you’re staying close by, our on-park play area is a lifesaver for parents. You might want to grab an engrossing novel from our book swap, too.
Forgotten some bits and pieces? Not to worry — our park shop stocks all your essentials (and a few little luxuries!).
After the day’s adventuring is done, make the most of our high-speed WiFi and enjoy a family night in with your favourite on-demand film or box set. Perhaps even video call the family to make them really jealous! That’s all before cosying up in our ultra comfy double beds and doing it all again tomorrow, of course.
Who knows? You might fall in love with your lodge — in which case you’ll be interested to learn that we also offer holiday home ownership at Sun Haven!
Absolutely everything you need to just pack a bag, set off and join us for a luxury lodge holiday in Newquay, as well as a few extra luxuries. You don’t even have to leave our park if you’re up for a low key day!
Whilst our location and our lodges are incredible, we think it’s our on-park atmosphere that sets us apart and makes us a truly place to go on holiday.
Our team’s top priority is service. Whether you’re looking to discover the best dog-friendly beaches or our recommendations for the best eateries in Newquay or Padstow, we’ll help you get your bearings.

Cornwall
There’s no place like ours for a fish supper!
Being such a coastal hotspot, Cornwall is understandably synonymous with seafood and it’s fair to say that Newquay doesn’t disappoint.
For some freshly-caught gastronomic indulgences, we’d recommend Moules & Co, The Fish House and the Fish Bar — to name just a few of the incredible eateries in town!
Just a 15-minute drive up the road from Sun Haven is the delightful Cornish harbour town of Padstow, home to no fewer than four Rick Stein restaurants.
For some of the very best locally-sourced cuisine, Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 offers up special Michelin-starred cuisine.
Our part of the world is heaven on earth for our canine companions.
There’s nothing like a hazy summer morning walk with your furry friend on world-famous golden sands. Fistral, Little Fistral, Harbour beach, Towan beach, Crantock beach and Gannel estuary
are all dog friendly year round.
We’re a great countryside escape, too. With more fresh air than you can shake a chasing stick at, the Mawgan Porth and St Mawgan circular walk is one your four-legged friend will love just as much as you.
After all that fun, you’ll need a bite to eat. The Merrymoor Inn and The Falcon Inn are two great pup-friendly places for homemade food and a local ale.
So, with so much to do and see for our four-legged family members, it’s a good job that our holiday park is completely pet friendly. We even have showers and snack bars.
One of the great things about Cornwall as a holiday destination? Wherever you are in the region, you’re never far from everything else it has to offer.
Padstow, St Ives, Port Isaac, Penzance, Truro, Falmouth, Polperro — and all the attractions and hidden gems within — are only a moment away in the car.
Of course, if you’re a first time visitor, you’d be remiss to not pay a visit to Cornwall’s big-ticket attractions: Saint Michael’s Mount, The Lost Gardens, Land’s End, Tintagel Castle and the Tate St Ives are must sees.
If you’re bringing the kids or grandkids, there’s ample opportunity for a fun-filled (and even educational!) day out. Try The Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park and Camel Creek Adventure Park.
