We’re incredibly proud to share that Lovat Parks has become the only holiday park company in the UK to achieve Mumsnet Rated status — following an independent testing programme where every single family gave us a five-star rating, said they would recommend us, and loved their location. Here’s the story behind it.

We’ve always believed that a brilliant British holiday should be able to rival anything you’d find abroad. This month, that belief was put to the test — by five independent Mumsnet families who stayed at our Padstow Holiday Village during February half term and were asked to share their honest thoughts.

The result? A clean sweep. 100% rated their stay as ‘very satisfied’. 100% said they would definitely recommend us to a friend or family member. 100% were very satisfied with the location. We couldn’t be more proud of the team at Padstow, and of every person across the Lovat Parks family who makes experiences like this possible.

What is Mumsnet Rated?

Mumsnet is one of the UK’s most trusted parenting platforms, reaching eight million monthly users — including three in five UK households with children. Its Rated accreditation is awarded only after independent consumer testing, with at least 80% of testers saying they would recommend the product or service to a friend or family member.

As a Mumsnet spokesperson explained: “To be awarded Mumsnet Rated, a product or service must be tested and reviewed by a panel of Mumsnet users, with at least 80% saying they would recommend it to friends or family.”
We didn’t just meet the bar — every single one of our testers said yes. For us, that’s not just an accreditation. It’s a reflection of everything our teams pour into creating genuinely memorable family holidays.
