Reducing Our Carbon Footprint: Lovat Parks’ Progress

At Lovat Parks, we are committed to tackling climate change and achieving Net Zero by 2030. Since 2022, our baseline year for measuring carbon, we’ve been actively reducing emissions across all our parks.

🚗 Scope 1 Emissions

Direct emissions from park operations have also decreased:

  • Liquefied Petroleum Gas: 109.48 tCO₂e
  • Diesel & Unleaded: 22.13 tCO₂e

Overall, Scope 1 & 2 emissions for 2023–24 were 163.99 tCO₂e, a 19.74% reduction from the previous year, surpassing our target of 10% annual reduction.

Scope 2 Electricity Reductions

We’ve reduced Scope 2 electricity emissions by 30 tCO₂ — the equivalent of 30 Blue Whales! This reflects significant progress in cutting indirect energy-related emissions.

At Lovat Parks, every reduction and every smart energy decision brings us closer to a carbon-neutral future.
