Purchasing at Lovat: Championing Local, Ethical, and Sustainable Choices

At Lovat Parks, we believe that every purchasing decision is an opportunity to create a positive impact on people, on communities, and on the planet. Our Positive Impact Report highlights the progress we’ve made this year in transforming the way we source products for our parks, and we’re proud to share some of the milestones that reflect our commitment to responsible and sustainable procurement.

Raising the Bar on Supplier Standards

We are dedicated to working with partners who share our values. That’s why in 2024 we screened 100% of our suppliers against our Code of Conduct, ensuring alignment on environmental responsibility, ethical business practice, and social impact. Last year alone, we welcomed 123 new suppliers who met these standards.

This year also saw the launch of our new Purchasing Policy, designed to ensure that local businesses are prioritised in our supply chain. By choosing local wherever possible, we’re not only reducing our carbon footprint but also supporting the vibrant communities around our parks.

Celebrating Local & B Corp Partnerships

Our commitment to responsible purchasing is reflected in the products found across our collective park shops. We’re proud to share that:

  • 26% of all store stock is sourced locally
  • 10% of our stock comes from B Corp certified businesses

These partnerships allow us to bring high-quality, responsibly made products to our guests while contributing directly to local economies and championing businesses that take social and environmental responsibility seriously.
