Partnering for the Path: Celebrating Our New Relationship with the South West Coast Path Association 3m B Corp Lovat Parks 14/11/25 This winter, we launched an exciting new partnership with a charity close to our Cornish parks — the South West Coast Path Association (SWCPA). The Association is on a mission to protect, enhance, and celebrate the Coast Path as one of the world’s truly great trail experiences. Offering a walk for every season, the Coast Path features a range of family-friendly five-mile routes, an abundance of cream tea pit stops, and a wealth of dog-friendly pubs to choose from. With so much to discover, all ages can enjoy a year-round holiday adventure. The South West Coast Path With its origins in the 19th century as a coastguard patrol route designed to deter smugglers, today the South West Coast Path stands as England’s longest waymarked footpath — stretching from Minehead on the edge of Exmoor to the shores of Poole Harbour. It’s a favourite for endurance walkers seeking the ultimate challenge. The Path’s breathtaking history and landscapes have inspired artists and writers from around the world and have frequently featured in film and television — explored by the likes of Kate Humble, Julia Bradbury, and famously, Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs in The Salt Path. We’re officially Way Makers We’re proud that both Padstow Holiday Village and Sun Haven Holiday Park are now official Way Makers for the Path. They’ll serve as stamping points for the Association’s Passport Holders, joining more than 200 businesses along the 630-mile route. Emma from the SWCPA explains that when you sign up for membership, you’ll receive the latest edition of the Association’s Official Guide to the South West Coast Path, helping you start your own adventures — with 50% of your membership fee going directly towards protecting and promoting this incredible trail. Members can also enjoy our dog-friendly luxury accommodation as part of this offer, and you’ll receive an exclusive Lovat Parks holiday discount too. We are thrilled to be supported by yet another fantastic business in the South West. Our Way Maker businesses are not only a key part of the experience on the South West Coast Path but their support makes our charity’s important work possible. Lovat Parks are a B-Corp with an amazing focus on sustainable tourism and local communities, we are excited to have them onboard. We’d love to see your photos as you explore the Path — please tag @lovatparks on Instagram and Facebook, as well as @southwestcoastpath to share your adventures! Here are some of our team highlights with their friends, family, and four-legged companions enjoying the trail that we’re so lucky to have on our doorstep. Link copied
