Our Very Own Coffee Ground Soaps Have Arrived

We’re absolutely delighted to share some exciting news—this week, we’ve taken delivery of our very own Lovat soaps!

These aren’t just any soaps. They’ve been thoughtfully crafted by Kernow Soap using coffee grounds sourced directly from our Cornish parks. This is a fantastic example of circularity in action and might even be a first of its kind in the industry!

Here’s how the process works:

1. Every cup of coffee brewed across our Cornish parks produces coffee grounds.
2. Poppy from Kernow Soap collects these grounds regularly.
3. Poppy then creates our unique soaps, which are cured for about a month. During curing, the strong coffee scent fades, replaced by a gentle, subtle fragrance.
4. Kernow Soap delivers the finished soaps back to our park shops.
5. We retail these eco-friendly soaps for both our guests and team members to enjoy!

Looking ahead, we’re aiming to offer these soaps in every accommodation on our parks, making the experience even more sustainable and special for all who stay with us.
