The New Forest Church of England Primary School pupils receive their new mud kitchen

This week, Julie and Amelia from Green Hill Farm had the pleasure of visiting The New Forest Church of England Primary School to deliver a very special surprise—a brand new mud kitchen!

This exciting project in the New Forest started last year when we first visited the pupils to launch our circularity initiative. Through interactive educational sessions, we explored the importance of diverting waste from landfill and encouraged the children to collect their used toiletry packaging at home. Many of these items can’t be recycled through standard home or park collections, so we set out to give them a second life.

The school’s contributions, combined with our guest collections from last season, were transformed into this incredible new learning tool—proving that waste can become something wonderful! To celebrate their hard work, each pupil was awarded a Big 5 medal in recognition of their efforts. The excitement was infectious as they eagerly began their first playtime in the mud kitchen, ready to get creative and explore through messy, hands-on fun.

A huge well done to The New Forest Church of England Primary School pupils for their commitment to sustainability—this is just the beginning of their journey in making a positive impact on the planet! We can’t wait to see how they continue to embrace circularity and creative learning. As a B Corp, we’re proud to support initiatives that inspire the next generation to think sustainably, take action, and turn waste into something wonderful.
