Not only are we perfectly placed a stone’s throw from the beach, but we have all those essential amenities — as well as a fair few little luxuries. Just pack up, hop in the car and be unwinding in your luxury lodge by the Kent coast in no time at all.

With a panoramic coastal backdrop, you’ll scarcely believe we’re only a short drive down the A2 from the hustle and bustle of the capital. Open from 1st March until 2nd January, there’s everything you need to just leave it all behind for a getaway to your holiday home.

As well as our refurbished owners’ club, make the most of our on-park bistro and bar, heated swimming pools, live entertainment, sports court and kid’s playground — or cast your rod at our well-stocked angling lakes.

For streaming your favourite films or video calling the grandkids, that high-speed connectivity is a little luxury that makes a big difference. You could even ‘work from lodge’ if you’re wanting an extended weekend by the Kent coast!

Sheppey: a special place to call home from home.

Bestowed the prestigious title of the ‘garden of England’ by Henry VIII, Kent certainly lives up to this Tudor billing. There’s something for everyone — including those on four legs!

Just on the Isle of Sheppey, you can wind away the morning in the dog-friendly Swale National Nature Reserve, or stretch your legs on any of Sheppey’s three Blue Flag, dog-friendly beaches: Minster Leas, Leysdown and Sheerness.

The Isle of Harty circular walking trail mixes rural charm with a spellbinding coastal backdrop — perfectly typifying Kent, we’d say!

Where kids can be, well, kids.

Grab an ice cream from The Sweet Hut, build castles on Sheerness beach and day trip to the Bredgar & Wormshill Railway. Or just keep the little ones entertained at the on-park children’s play area. There’s even amusements and an adventure playground! We’re completely child friendly.

Don’t think we forgot about those on four legs. Whenever you’re feeling like escaping to your holiday home, bring along up to two well-behaved furry friends — our Kent holiday parks are all totally pet and dog friendly.

With the Blue Flag, dog-friendly beaches of Sheerness, Minster Leas and Leysdown on our doorstep, as well as Elmley and Swale National Nature Reserves (and not forgetting the Kent Downs), Sheppey is a treasure trove of coast and country walkies opportunities.

We’re a pooch’s paradise. Post-adventure, may we recommend an afternoon bite to eat at The Beach Bar, a lovely pro-pup eatery just a few moments from Golden Leas?

Friends free with every holiday home.

It’s not just the location, amenities and lodges that make holiday home ownership in Kent with us a luxury experience.

The moment you step on-park at Golden Leas or Hollybush Farm, you’re assured of a warm, friendly welcome — not just from our team, but your fellow owners. Service underpins everything we do. In fact, we’ve even been voted as the friendliest holiday park in Sheppey for three years in a row.

If you need our recommendations for local eateries or circular walking routes, always ask away — our team will stop at nothing to ensure the latest getaway to your holiday home is the best one yet.

We’re also proud to support our local communities, people and businesses, ensuring the areas we call home from home remain as incredible as ever. We even hold the prestigious B Corp Certification — a measure of our social and environmental performance.

Child friendly

Beaches, nature walks & local delicacies. Immerse yourself in Sheppey.

Close to Golden Leas, you’ll find the immaculate, award-winning beaches of Minster Leas, Sheerness and Leysdown — itself a lovely little seaside resort, just a trip down Leysdown Road from Golden Leas. Your base for dog walking, cycling, ice cream tasting and soaking up the sea breeze.

The town centre in Sheerness is well worth a visit, too. Explore The Criterion Blue Town, a heritage centre and restored music hall. For a bite to eat, we’d recommend Fairweather’s and Mem’s Mezze in particular, two lovely independent restaurants.

The Minster Abbey Gatehouse Museum, a 1,000-year-old, grade I-listed building, is just one of many lovely slices of local heritage, too. Don’t miss the Eastchurch Aviation Museum either!

Appreciate teeming wildlife teeming at but one but two National Nature Reserves, Swale and Elmley. Ideal for exploring on two legs or two pedal-powered wheels.
