It’s true. The coronavirus lockdown has made us all appreciate just how important spending quality time with friends and family really is. It’s also highlighted why getting away from it all and back to nature isn’t just one of life’s real pleasures, it’s a necessity.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our park home owners and residents, and we hope that you’ve managed to keep you and your loved ones safe at home and aren’t too stir crazy.
I think we’ve all been amazed and humbled by just how hard and dedicated the NHS, social carers, key workers and delivery drivers have been working to keep us safe and keep food on the table. It really does put day-to-day inconveniences and niggles into perspective.
Throughout the lockdown, all our parks have been closed, with the exception of Pear Tree Farm, our residential park on the Isle of Sheppey. If you’re a home or lodge owner on any of our parks, you can be assured that we’re looking after the park and also our staff by working within the government’s health and operational guidelines.
We’re itching to lift the barriers and welcome you back. When we can safely, we will, but only then. We’re not wasting any time during lockdown though. Many of the parks are undergoing maintenance and we’re making numerous improvements. You may have noticed that we’ve also launched a fresh new look Lovat Parks with new branding, brochures and this website. We’re really pleased with it but we’d be interested to hear what you think of it.
If you’re really missed being able to get away to your holiday home or lodge, or were looking forward to a holiday or camping with us, we totally understand. We simply all have to wait it out, stay safe and follow government advice.
