A Lovat welcome

On 12th April we were ecstatic to be re-opening our parks and welcoming our owners and guests back for a well-deserved break. It was a day filled with community spirit and smiles all round. Have a read on what we got up to on our first weekend back...

Golden Leas Holiday Park, Kent

At Golden Leas we were so excited to see everyone back. We greeted our owners at the gates with goodie bags which included our 2021 Golden Leas Calendar- ready to fill with all their summer plans. As a special treat the first person to arrive received a £10 voucher to spend in our Club - drinks were on us!

Over the weekend we cranked up the music and had a socially-distanced BBQ on the Showground. We also held a tournament on the brand-new sports court and everyone got involved! We served free breakfast baps on Sunday morning before an afternoon of live music with Joshua Charles.

Our entertainment guru Sammie and our mascot Goldie Bear, were on hand to provide fun and games to keep the little ones entertained. It was a weekend of fun -long may it continue!

Padstow Holiday Village, Cornwall

We had a wonderful opening day at Padstow Holiday Village with guests returning to enjoy our new park improvements and some long-awaited Cornish sun.

Our gardener, Nick, created a stunning floral welcome display along with a gorgeous sensory garden. We also enjoyed our new pop-up food experience, brought to us by Craftworks who launched their secret garden restaurant and Tipi. It's brought joy to many Cornish food lovers- and the Padstow team too!

Sun Haven Holiday Park, Cornwall

Sun Haven also opened on 12th April. Our green-thumbed gardener, Nick, created a gorgeous floral display with hanging baskets to planted boats and a range of coastal grasses.

New for 2021 Sun Haven has been equipped with beach clean stations to help us take our sustainable tourism campaign a little further. We're also donating beach clean equipment to Plastic Free Mawgan Porth. Our guests relaxed in our new Cornish café and our canine guests enjoyed lots of treats. In the evening we lit the fire on our brand new communal fire pit for the first time! It was perfect after a meander back from watching the sunset at Mawgan Porth Beach!

Azure Seas Holiday Village, Suffolk

At Azure Seas we welcomed owners back with a pint at our socially distanced pub event! We also handed over the keys to new lodge owners who have been waiting to visit their new holiday home since last summer! It was great to catch up with everyone, make new friends and raise a glass to the summer ahead!
