If you’re staying in Kent this November...

Leeds Castle Fireworks Spectacular, Maidstone

6th & 7th November

This display is a bit special. Often called the best and biggest in the South East, it’s a bit more than just the fireworks. There are fabulous projections on the castle too, and the whole thing is set to live music. This year the theme is Space, and it promises to be better than ever.

Fireworks Spectacular at Kent Life, Sandling

6th & 7th November

This theatrical evening starts off with fire performers, building up to a countdown to the display itself. See the fireworks from one of several viewing points around the site, before visiting the fairground. Or alternatively, the bar.

If you’re planning a November holiday in Cornwall...

Lappa Valley Fireworks Display, near Newquay

30th October

This miniature railway theme park is a family favourite, and their annual Fireworks Party looks like it will be a lovely affair. Very child-focused, with hot and cold food available on the evening, so you can feed the children into the bargain. Job done.

Cornwall’s Drive-in Firework Spectacular, Wadebridge

6th November

One of the largest in Cornwall, this is an impressive display that you can watch from your car. There’ll be hot food and drink to enjoy first, then sit on the bonnet (or roof), and see the sky light-up as the pyrotechnics begin.

Are you off to The New Forest this November?

Totton & Eling Cricket Club Fireworks, near Southampton

7th November

This year the Totton and Eling Cricket Club display is set to music for the first time. There’ll be bars both inside and out, children’s rides, and something that could clinch it for many...a hog roast. A fun, small display with a party atmosphere.

Ringwood Grand Fireworks in Ringwood, New Forest

7th November

This community run event is great. There are two displays. One is quieter with ‘low bangs’ so absolutely perfect for children with sensory challenges, or very little ones. There’s live music, a beer tent, and great food choices too.

Having a break with us In Suffolk this November?

Ipswich Fireworks Festival at the Suffolk Showground

6th November

A whole evening’s entertainment! Before the fireworks, enjoy a stage show by acts that include boy-band of old, ‘Blue’ (or what’s left of them). Choose to walk in and watch the show on a stage, or drive in and see it on a big screen, before the impressive display bursts into action.

Fireworks Extravaganza at Lowestoft and Yarmouth Rugby Club

6th November

A great family display that ticks all the required boxes for a fun Bonfire Night. A bit of a local favourite, there will be food and drink stalls, live music, and a funfair.

In Norfolk for Bonfire night this year?

Downham Market Fireworks, Kings Lynn

6th November

Downham Market Fireworks are legendary in Norfolk, run entirely by volunteers with the proceeds all going to charity. The organisers ask that you come in your car rather than walking. A friendly family event with a lovely atmosphere.

Wroxham Barns Fireworks, Hoveton

3rd & 4th November

A truly child-friendly event. The firework display at the lovely Wroxham Barns is ‘low bang’ making it ideal for little ears. Arrive early to use the fun parks and enjoy the junior farm before the display. The catering areas will be open, along with food trucks specially invited for the evening. And happily, there’s also a bar.

Other ‘don’t miss’ displays...

Legoland Fireworks Spectacular, Windsor

5th, 6th & 7th November

Are you planning on hitting Legoland this November anyway? It would make sense to go when the fireworks are on, as tickets include a full day at the park. This incredible display is taken to another level when you put on your special ‘Brick’ glasses, and the fireworks are transformed into exploding Lego bricks!

Alton Towers Fireworks

Fast gathering a reputation as one of the best displays in the UK, the Alton Towers Fireworks are completely worth the hype. This truly jaw-dropping display comes with the added thrill of late opening at the park. So you get to ride the rollercoasters in the dark!
