Bringing along your child and canine campers?

It’s not a proper family adventure without everyone, which is why our campsite is completely pet and child friendly — bring your canines, felines, children and grandchildren along if you’d like!

We’ve got a range of on-park facilities and activities to guarantee those on two little legs or four furry ones a great camping trip — children’s play areas, activity programs and even doggy showers for that inevitable cleanup operation.

Head off park and it’s a walkies paradise, with pup-friendly pubs around every corner. One of our favourites nearby is The Rockingham Arms, a short walk across the field. With a lovely beer garden, local ales on tap and home cooked food coming straight from the kitchen, it’s hard to ask for a better mid-adventure pitstop.

Everything you could possibly need for an amazing camping holiday in the New Forest.

Whether you’re up for action or adventure or a recharge-the-batteries kind of camping escape, our park’s perfect.

Keep it low key with a circular stroll around Landford, relax by our on-park wildlife lakes or head further and day trip to the Georgian surroundings of colourful coastal Lymington, complete with lovely beach huts.

As well as an on-park restaurant, Ember Café Bar and Pizzeria, we have a raft of fun on-park activities for little ones and adults alike.

We also have B Corp certification — the first holiday park group in the UK to be awarded this status. It’s a rigorous acknowledgement of our environmental and social performance. We love being able to offer our campers and tourers a sustainable environment to unwind.

This is all backed up by the incredible service offered by our friendly, welcoming on-park team. If you’re a first-time visitor in need of some top tips or personal hidden gem recommendations, we’re here to help you get your bearings (or answer any questions about Green Hill Farm, of course).

In fact, why not familiarise yourself with our lovely little park?

A few of our top tips for your camping or touring holiday in the New Forest…

A historic, deeply prized region and once the personal 11th-century hunting ground of William the Conqueror, the New Forest is home to some of Britain’s finest natural landscapes and most incredible wildlife.

To start your holiday as you mean to go on — surrounded by beauty — you can’t go wrong with the Landford and Hamptworth walk, right on our doorstep. Nearby there’s also the Bolderwood: Radnor Trail, perfect for some woodland exploration, as well as the lovely Lavender Gardens just up the road.

For nature lovers, the New Forest is heaven on Earth. Explore the abundant countryside walking trails, chocolate box villages, shady wooded glades and expansive open moors — with the occasional New Forest pony for accompaniment.

We’ve even written a guide to spotting these native beauties. Many can be found in the stunning, characterful villages dotted throughout the region; don’t miss Brockenhurst, Lyndhurst, Lymington or Beaulieu for a quintessential ‘New Forest’ village day out — of course complete with tea room, arts and crafts shop and pub visits…

Whilst the New Forest’s 566 square kilometres of woodland is undoubtedly the star of the show, mention must go to its stretch of stunning shoreline, perhaps best explored on The Solent Way. This walking route lines the shore, passing through stunning shingle and sand beaches including Milford-on-Sea, Highcliffe, Calshot and Hengistbury Head — to name just a few.

If you’ve got the little ones in tow, no doubt you’ll be getting pestered to head to Peppa Pig World, located at Paultons Park (just a 10-minute drive from Green Hill Farm). To blend four-wheeled fun with New Forest beauty, a day out to Beaulieu and its National Motor Museum is also unmissable.

How about some glamping in the New Forest?

Love the at-one-with-nature sense of escape of camping, but want to retain some of those creature comforts — whilst still getting up close to the New Forest?

Save some precious time fiddling around with tent poles and canvas and book one of our cosy little camping pods. Or, to take things to another luxurious level — perhaps for a romantic getaway or family treat — step into a safari tent for some true comfort under canvas, with your own hot tub, private decking and wood burner…

Or, fancy touring pitching up in Norfolk or Cornwall?

The New Forest is a second-to-none escape to nature, but you can’t deny Cornwall and Norfolk offer a similarly excellent opportunity to soak up the coast and country in style.

At Waxham Sands Holiday Park, our campsite nestled on the stunning Norfolk coast, you’re mere moments from Horsey Gap, the year-round residence of grey seal colonies — as well as being a stone’s throw from The Broads. No better place for glistening waterways, wildlife in abundance and Instagram-friendly windpumps!

Then there’s Cornwall, which needs no introduction as the staycation capital of Britain. Beautiful, unspoiled, Blue Flag coastline abounds, coupled with rolling countryside, charming harbour towns and a range of historic day trips to fill your day. Join us at one of our three excellent locations in the region.
