Nestled under the treetops in Landford, Wiltshire, head out of our park gates and you’re immediately immersed in the New Forest National Park, with native ponies for neighbours.

But whilst there’s an incredible amount to do, see and taste on our doorstep — woodland, heathland, wild open moors, picture-postcard villages, unspoiled beaches, family attractions — there’s also lots to keep everyone entertained on park.

Whilst you’re exploring their independent shops, restaurants and picture-postcard sights, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for New Forest native ponies. There’s over 5,000 of these semi-wild beauties in the region — we’ve even written a guide on how and where to spot them!

Whilst the wild open moors, undulating countryside and shady glades might steal the show, don’t forget that there’s also an incredible stretch of unspoiled coastline and beaches in the New Forest.
